Lillian Daniel

Mrs. Lillian Snell Daniel, an eighty‑five‑year native of Harrison, Georgia, was born on July 17, 1940, to the parentage of the late Ms. Johnnie M. Snell and the late Mr. Ulysses Wright.

Mother Daniel departed this life peacefully after an extended illness on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at her residence.

She was educated in the Washington County School System and worked in her family businesses as an entrepreneur and homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. John Edward Daniel, Sr., and her daughter, Angela Theresa Snell.

Mother Daniel is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Georgette Dixon, and son‑in‑law, Minister Eddie James Dixon (Warthen, GA); sister, Ms. Bertha Parks (Florida); granddaughter, Ms. Constance R. Boddie (St.   Augustine, Florida); grandson, Mr. Anthoni C. Canty (Gainesville, Georgia); great‑grandchildren, Mr. Bernard M. Irwin (Panama City, Florida), Mr. Gehazi Irwin (Jacksonville, Florida), Mr. Anthoni Chance Canty, Mr. Andrew Cashton Canty, Mr. Nemaj Williams (Tennille, Georgia), Ms. Allyiah Calise Canty (Warner Robins, Georgia), and a total of nine great‑grandchildren; and her God‑daughter, Ms. Laura Mae Henderson.
